Kyle Femath, from an early age, loved art and animation. Born and raised in Texas, his patriotism and love for our nation fueled his drive to join the United States Army as an Infantryman, in a time of war.  His passion for creating artistic works of art was something not even a warzone could rip apart.
After serving as an Infantry Combat Sergeant and receiving the Purple Heart in Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan. He returned home and began studying computer character animation. Kyle began learning various art forms at the University of Texas of Dallas: Figure drawing, anatomy, and advanced charcoal drawing classes.
After a long 8 years of college, Kyle Received Three degrees. His highest is a Bachelor's in ATEC: Arts, Technology, and emerging communication with Magna Cum Laude Graduation Honors at The University of Texas at Dallas. Kyle then took a two-year online course at Animation Mentor, learning from various mentors all over the animation industry. Kyle then found a remote character animator job with Mavericks VFX, in Canada. Kyle has worked on an unannounced Feature Film to premiere this year 2024. His latest 3D Animation Contract has been with Fudge Animation Studios, London. Then with the blessing and support of his loving wife went on his own way as a freelance 3D Character Animator.
As Kyle's career in Character animation progressed, he always wondered if there was still a possibility that he could be successful as a fine artist. In early 2019, Kyle was in the University of Texas at Dallas, SP/N Master Art Show, where he received an Honorable Mention for his first Charcoal Portrait of himself and his infantry brothers fighting the Taliban in Afginastian. It took Kyle over 100 hours to complete the entire Charocal portrait and judging by the detail you would have thought it took even longer. His attention to detail and understanding of the elements of art from his mentors over the years shows throughout his art pieces.
Kyle enjoys animation but often returns to his first love of charcoal. He is drawn to the timeless aesthetics of black and white artwork and its classic look. He has also a unique technique using various electric erasers, Charcoal Pencils, and charcoal sticks. Creating a more realistic and detailed final charcoal product compared to only using Charocal sticks. Kyle is always improving his craft and learning more each day by constantly pushing the limits of such an adventurous art form.
Kyle Lives in east Texas with his wife and four dogs. He loves creating art and spreading the light to others, especially when they are viewing his artwork with their own eyes. He has a main mission called Operation Never Forget and he wants to create works of art on the side of fallen soldiers, LE, and Fireman. Traveling around the world surprising the surviving families and reminding them they are not forgotten and to keep going. He wants to remind them we will never forget and to spread that light to help lift others up. He hopes to create more art and help show others how powerful art truly is.
